Upgrade of the S-125 "Pechora" ADMS to level of the
S-125-2TM "Pechora-2TM" ADMS
The "Pechora-2TM" ADMS is designed for fighting contemporary and prospective aerial attack assets under complex jamming conditions. The "Pechora-2TM" ADMS enables efficient defeat of high-speed, low-altitude and small-size targets.
The principal distinctions of the "Pechora-2TM" ADMS from the base-line configuration of the "Pechora" ADMS are as follows.
- Enhanced combat capabilities of the ADMS
The "Pechora-2TM" ADMS owing to its innovative effective SAM guidance system, is capable of killing manned and unmanned air attack assets at ranges of up to 36 km and altitudes of up to 25 km. flying at velocities of up to 900 m/s.
- Stepped -up survivability of the ADMS
In order to increase the ADMS survivability under the conditions of antiradar missile application the extra radar protection station (CPTÇ-125) has been introduced in the composition of the "Pechora-2TM" ADMS. The effectiveness of ADMS protection through the use of the ÑÐÒÇ-125 is no less than 93%.
- Higher jamming immunity of the ADMS
Incorporation of protection means against jamming ensures detection, tracking and engagement of targets in the conditions of all kinds of jamming. The jamming immunity of the "Pechora-2TM" ADMS stands at 2700 W/MHz against active noise jamming from an equivalent distance of 100 km. For the "Pechora" ADMS this index is 24 W/MHz.
All ADMS assets are placed on self-propelled and towed high cross-country capacity automobile chassis. The emplacement and displacement time of the "Pechora-2TM" ADMS does not exceed 20 minutes.
- Higher reliability of the ADMS
In the "Pechora-2TM" ADMS up to 95 % of equipment has been converted to new hardware elements as against the base-line Pechora. The ADMS instrumentation service life and reliability has been increased, time required for servicing has been reduced, and spare parts' nomenclature has been decreased.
The ADMS can perform combat operations independently or as part of an Air Defense grouping. The "Pechora-2TM" ADMS can be integrated in any air defense system. It can be interfaced with all types of radar stations and systems, inclusive of the air route control system.
